One Million Acts Of Kindness

One Million Acts Of Kindness

One Million Acts Of Kindness

This is Bob. He is a very brave guy who changed his life radically and dedicated it to a higher purpose!

After a divorce, the events of September 11th and the slaughter at Virginia Tech, Bob decided to sell everything, buy a bus and travel around the USA over 10 years now, simply to spread love and kindness.

As a father of three college age kids Bob felt concerned for the world in which all kids will live. So he wanted to change our world for the better with a very simple tool: being kind.

Bob was hoping to convince as many people as possible about this much needed movement for this world. About sixty family members, friends and neighbours helped him painting his bus with awesome messages:

And this is what Bob says about his vision:

„One Million Acts Of Kindness is a goal. A goal for each person to individually perform One Million Acts Of Kindness in their life. Can you imagine a greater goal for one’s life? It is a constant mind-set of kindness every day of your life for the next fifty-five years. Doing for others and kindness in your heart for everyone. It is my wish that you will dedicate your life to a charity… finding the passion in your heart for something or someone in need.“

Ain´t that a beautiful idea? And it works – Bob inspired me already to be more kind and open every day :)

If Thoughts become Things

If Thoughts become Things

If Thoughts become Things

Have you ever experienced really strange coincidences, serendipities, or even so called „miracles“?

And do you „believe“ in phenomena, where there is no rational explanation for?

I do believe in such things and that they happen for a reason:

To help us and guide us and to open our minds for the amazing possibilites we are capable of.

I´d like to show you a beautiful example demonstrating this idea with ordinary water:

The japanese scientist Masaro Emoto, a Doctor of Alternative Medicine explored frozen water after it was exposed to different emotions.

Water from clear mountain springs and streams had beautifully formed crystalline structures, while the crystals of polluted or stagnant water were deformed and distorted.

Bespoken with the words „thank you“ , the frozen crystals had a similar shape to the crystals formed by water that had been exposed to Bach’s „Goldberg Variations“- music composed out of gratitude to the man it was named for.

You can see the pictures in this short video:

Having seen this, we can maybe start to be aware of the awesome power we possess, through choosing our thoughts and intentions, to heal ourselves and the earth.

Only as I did some research about Mr. Emoto, I found out, he had to face quite a lot of prejudices. He is often considered to be not a „real“ scientologist, and his work is lacking of proofs.

Maybe in our culture it is still a big step to allow yourself to think freely about such irrational things, without being judged as being esoteric and a bit craaaazy ;)

Hm!

I personally agree with one of the comments made on the Emoto -Video:

„Even if you are skeptical, the imagery is an important reminder that our thoughts, actions, and even emotions do have a measurable effect on people around us. I think it is beautiful.“

Crocheting Madness

She must be a maniac! This girl from poland – her name is Olek – is so exiting, inspiring and full of bursting energy. She is crocheting her whole world in order to transform it – I am always reminded of a cocoon:)

Olek

Hard to believe, but her work includes e.g. this complete train:

Olek is unstoppable, least of all by busses, statues or buildings. She even crocheted a whole homeless shelter in New Delhi, India!Today her colourful work is exhibited in museums around the world.Such joy, fun and freedom she is spreading and she is a wonderful example of what may happen if you follow your heart.
